My 10yo son and I installed this hitch in about 2.5 hours, taking our time. I was very impressed with the way this hitch is designed - bolt up was perfect. My only suggestion would be to add the one horizontal bolt after the hitch is up in place with the vertical lots installed. Tow Ready company now makes kit #118572 for adding taillights to the new 2010-2013 Jetta. Plug and play WITHOUT splicing! Happy towing!
