I have used the spider wed top which is mesh. While it does give shade on sunny days if you happen to run into rain not much to keep any part of you or your jeep dry. This top does give nice protection from a shower. I have tried it out with the doors on and it almost gives as much protection as if you had the hard top on. With the heater on I see no reason I will not use this top to low 40's. This will allow me to leave the hard top off most off the year. Nice days remove the doors and your good to go.
