JL AUDIO EVOLUTION C2-600X Review

Bought these for my 99 Accord coupe front doors. The cool thing is the C2-600x fits Honda's or Japanese cars very well. Honda's are not a true 6.5 speaker, the mounting with is 5.0 inches or 62mm and these are exactly that. The mounting dept was fine, all though I thought it was gonna hit the window but it's the same measurements once you cut the plastic back off the Honda speaker mount *(you do have to cut the back of the Honda speaker cradle and inside a little, easy fix just cut with Dremel tool and fits like a glove).

JL Audio has a rep for being number 1 in car audio sound, nothing you will or could buy will ever touch anything JL makes. When I first put them in I diddn't hear much bass like I originally thought, but then I used Dynamat door kit and they were banging with no distortion. When you hear a piano or guitar, it's sounds warm and natural or from rock to rap you have the a real nice bass tone. My settings on my head unit is set to flat, no loud, bass +1 on a Pioneer DVD - NAV unit. The sound is very crisp. It's like having Bose bet better and a lot more bass. Dynamat is a must.

I also purchased one 12w3v3-2 with a JX500/1 to help with a little more bass, I have yet to install it.
