HJC Solid Men's CL-16 Sports Bike Racing Motorcycle Helmet - Matte Black / Small Review

I know a lot of people who ride Harleys like to wear as little helmet as possible. But I like my face, and I want to keep it looking the way it does now.

The reason I got the helmet is because half-helmets were really starting to hurt my ears on the highway in the wind. I ruptured my ear drum over the summer, and the loud wind would make it hurt and overall just wasn't very fun. So I picked out this helmet in a store, thought it was overpriced and decided to get it on Amazon for $30 less.

I ordered it on a Monday, and received it on Thursday. Awesome. Second, the thing is really nice and really comfy. I've never ridden with a full helmet on so I wasn't sure I'd like it, but it's amazing. No wind in my ears. Other than that, the sound isn't muffled at all. I can hear the engine and everything around me, just no wind tunnel effect.

The only thing I didn't like is that when I stopped at a light I noticed that the visor creates some sort of optical illusion that makes the road immediately in front of me look sloped when it is not. It's hard to explain and really isn't a big problem. Just strange.
