Ford Edge Ebony Cargo Security Shade Review

On the photo it looks more like a hard cover and that it's made from the interior fabric similar to trunk and mats. The product decription actually does say "vinyl", but I wanted to believe in the look on the photo. Color is black (if you worry that "ebony", as description says, might be a slightly brownish tint). This shade is made from one layer of cheap and thin vinyl with a sloppy sewn binding, elastic loops and plastic hooks. It's a soft cover and it looks very very cheap, I would agree with another reviewer that it should cost no more than $30, not a $116 (amazon) or $140 (dealer price). It looks like it's been sewn in someone's garage, not factory made. But it fits trunk space well and and serves its purpose - covers the stuff. It ships folded in the box and it was very wrinkly at first, but after a few days being set up it was fine. I haven't seen other options of Ford cargo covers and it's same as on their website. So, this cover is not exactly what I expected and would like to have, but I am glad I didn't have to pay $140 for it. Thank you Amazon! :)
