Ok it's simple. this tire isn't the greatest tire on the market. Hell No one wanted to buy a yokohama so why buy a shinko? Well it's simple. $140 shipped from Powersports superstore. Tires on my busa don't last at all. they burn off almost as fast as I can put them on. Stop light to stop light on my slammed couch takes allot out of a tire. Putting a $300 rear on there just seems like a huge waste of money. but if you drop the pressure in these tires to 30R and 31F the tire seems to feel better and I will say I've run allot of bikes with many tire combos and IMO these tires aren't all bad. they seem to handle allot of abuse while still feeling very predictiable when worn down to the steel belts. the down side is your riding a bowling ball. the tire takes a long time to heat up and gets greasy on extended high speed twisty rides. but again it's predictiable and I can tell when it's about to break loose. If your a casual street racer who likes to put tons of miles on your bike like I do then maybe this shinko is for you. But if your looking to lower your ET's, Hit the twisties hard or just be a poser with an expensive tire then Keep looking the shinko isn't for you. but if non of the fore mentioned is on your to do list then Rock out. Shinko's will provide many fun days out and about on the road. Stay frosty and good luck.
