Sunpro FZ88R 3-3/8" Retro Tachometer Review

I bought this tach for my t-bucket roadster hoping to keep the old-time feel. It did not disappoint. Other than the mounting bracket being fairly flimsy, allowing the tack to vibrate back and forth, the thing works like it is supposed to. I fabricated a piece of thin sheet metal with an L at the top and bottom, painted it flat black, and glued it at the dash and to the back of the tach with some ultra-black gasket material. This cured the vibration and it's barely visible. Looks pretty smart although the tach looks a bit larger than I was expecting. It was easily wired up with some stranded 16 guage wire bought at our local hardware store and good instructions are provided. Highly recommended for that great 60's look.
