I have these on a 2009 Harley ElectraGlide Classic. I ride all winter in AZ where it's often pretty cold in the AM...40s. I prefer heat demon to HD's heated grips which I have on another ElectraGlide in Wisconsin. It takes a bit longer for demons' heat to get to you, but I can use any grips I want and if there is a failure I won't have to buy new grips. The control is easy to use. It is necessary to restart the heat demon every time you shut down/restart the bike but that is easy to get used to. There can be a fitment problem with certain handlebars and controls. I had to have aftermarket bars machined out a little to make these fit with HD's wire-controlled throttle apparatus, although they worked fine with the stock bars.
