I frequently work on cars between my daily drivers, project cars and amateur road racing. I had been using Craftsman torque wrenches bought from Sears for years. My original 1/2" 25-150 ft. lbs. model just died. It had worked great since its purchase in 1995. I had the opportunity to use some Snap On "bar style" torque wrenches my friends own and liked them a lot. I originally decided to replace my Craftsman with a Snap On. I discovered that Precision Instruments was the OEM for Snap On. I first bought the PREC3FR250F and it was identical to my brother's Snap On version except for a dust shield the Snap On had and the coloring scheme. It also came with the calibration card just like the Snap On. As luck would have it, my 3/8" Craftsman failed a week later. I ended buying the PREC2FR100F and PREC2FR600H to replace it. Saved a chunk a cash by the Precision Instruments versions. They are Made in the USA which was important to me too. Most of the consumer Reviews tell that the "Precision Instruments (PREC2FR600H) 3/8" Drive Flex Head Split Beam Click Wrench 120 to 600 in./lbs." are high quality item.
