K&N 57A-6037 Cold Air Induction System Review

I installed this system on my 2009 MINI Cooper S Clubman. The only variation I needed to make is for the flow or MAP sensor that is in the end of the factory air box. According to K&N this system is for non-US spec engines, but, is legal for street use in some states. They provide a list of the states.
What is needed is to unbolt the sensor from the factory airbox, and re-install it in the intake hose. When you fit the new Apollo filter box on the engine, you need to cut about 2 inches off of the sensor side of the supplied rubber elbow, then the new system will fit with all of the supplied parts following the instructions provided.
Turbo lag for the most part is gone, the car is quicker, and there is a modest increase in the fuel mileage if you can keep your foot out of the pedal.
