I could not get the cover to fit across the width, it was a inch short. It was either modify or pack it up and send it back. Armed with a hacksaw I removed one inch from the front and back ends and the cross bars. Viola it fits the way it should have out of the box. I had tried to warm the cover with a space heater in a heated garage and it wouldn't stretch. I then realize even if it did stretch when warm I would never be able to use it in cold weather, so modification was the only option. I have a 2012 F150 Super Crew 5.5 foot bed. Hope this helps!
