The other reviewer said he got 13,000 miles out of his tire which is pretty amazing and cant imagine how thats possible for a motorcycle. I was impressed with the current 7,000+ miles I have put on mine and it is nearing the end of its useful life. That amazing for a bike tire and I have ridden fairly hard on my GS500, about as hard as one can on a 500 I guess. It allows me to handle corners gracefully and sticks to the road well in the summer especially. Highly recommend.
