It is designed to be used in conjunction with one of the Mityvac Fluid Pumps (Mityvac 7201 Fluid Evacuator Plus, Mityvac (MITMV7400) 7.3 Liter Fluid Evacuator, Mityvac 7300 PneumatiVac Air-Operated Fluid Evacuator). The vehicle specific fitting threads in the transmission's drain plug (or filling plug if so equipped), fill the pump with the exact amount of ATF (you may allow a little extra for the anticipated spill), few pumps will transfer the ATF to the transmission pan. Make sure you follow the vehicle manufacturer's instructions for changing ATF, the instructions for the fluid pump, and for this set.
Some of these fitments will become handy to fill the rear differential and transfer case.
