i bought this amp in July 2007 and used it in my 1995 buick century until March 2010. at that time the buick got totaled and i bought a pickup truck. I would still be using the amp but its too large for the pickup truck.in the almost 3 years of use, i never had any problems with it. i had it mounted on a piece of plywood in the trunk of the buick and it was powering two 15" 2000 watt subs. it could easily make the car shake to the point that you could see the windshield shaking if sitting in the car.
the only thing to watch out for is to make sure your vehicles electrical system can handle it. it had once drained my battery from listening to it with the engine off without running the engine often enough to keep the battery charged. one thing i did to help solve this problem was to install a switch in the power-on wire to the amp from the radio, this way i could turn off the amp if i wanted to listen to the radio without the engine running.
it also often made the headlights in the buick dim when it was turned up, which is easily solvable by installing a stronger alternator or adding a capacitor.
