I got this a year ago to use for snowmobiling. We didn't get any snow though. I was finally able to take it out and use it this past weekend in 5 degree weather and going 40mph on an open windy frozen lake. It was great. I only had a tshirt on underneath and didn't feel a thing. I would imagine if it was below zero you may feel a little, but wearing something besides a tshirt underneath would probably do the trick.
