I needed a Class I hitch (200# tongue weight) to mount a bike rack. There are several options for my 2013 Mazda 5, and the pics all looked the same. I even checked the installation instructions, all the same. The "Hidden Hitch" I received is actually labeled "Draw Tite", which has always worked well for me in the past. The installation took about an hour; I could do it again in 30 minutes, less with a second set of hands. Requires drilling or cutting to expand an existing hole (in the passenger frame rail), then mounts into two other holes in that rail. Be prepared with a good drill or jigsaw (I'd use the saw next time), and some paint / rust preventative for the exposed metal. I'm not worried about the integrity of the setup. That expanded hole ends up under the hitch assembly. No other permanent changes to the car.
The unit is HEAVY. Very solidly built. It bolts to the passenger-side frame rail, on the driver side behind the bumper, and on the existing tow hook near the middle. It slides juuust under the bumper, and is higher off the ground than the muffler. When installed (without the ball attachment) it is recessed behind the bumper and out of the way.
I really like this hitch and am confident that it's stronger than the rating; of course, I'm sticking to the 200# spec.
