These are the first cover-all type pants I've ever owned for riding and I'm quite pleased. Usually I wear my "racing" leathers if I want good protection for my legs, otherwise I've just ridden in jeans in the past, which, of course, is not wise. So I picked these up about a month ago and I wear them when commuting every day. They're great! Super comfortable, easy to get off and on, big enough side pockets to hold my wallet, keys, and cell phone (with a strong zipper, too).Built-in knee pads are a nice touch, and breathable fabrics in the inner-thighs help keep your legs a comfortable temperature even when the outside temps get into the 80s
